On Friday, August 24, 2007, a San Luis Obispo native was killed in a car accident on Highway 101 and State Route 58. Apparently, the 23-year-old young man was traveling in his SUV when it flipped over and caught on fire.
NBC affiliate, KSBY reports,
According to the California Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Kenneth Kowalski II was traveling around 65 miles per hour on the 101 south when he ran off the right side of the highway.
Our firm's condolences go out to the family. Our hearts are sad to hear about a youth in our community who lost his life in this tragedy.
