Work has started on Highway 46 near Paso Robles to widen the road to 4 lanes. This a welcome development as Highway 46 has seen numerous fatal accidents over the years. Highway 46 is the primary route from the Central Valley to the Central Coast, including Pismo Beach and sees heavy traffic on weekends and holidays.
